Digital-download title features AI from Fight Night...
EA has announced NBA Jam: On Fire Edition for Xbox 360 and PS3, a digital-download arcade basketball title set for release this October.
On Fire Edition features a rejigged online mode called JAM Arena, and sees the return of Team Fire, which allows you to ignite your entire team by performing consecutive co-operative moves while swapping players on the fly. The game is said to use the same AI system as the Fight Night franchise, and can apparently learn your playing style and adapt accordingly.
“EA SPORTS continues to support this iconic franchise through a new digital download and we’re taking everything fans loved about the original and adding a host of new features,” said Trey Smith, Line Producer of NBA JAM: On Fire Edition. “We’ve listened to all of the feedback from our fans and we are driven to deliver the very best NBA JAM experience to date.”
EA is also planning to release a new, realistic, NBA simulation title next year.
