Set to build upon the successes of the first game, MySims Kingdom is coming to Wii and DS this autumn...

EA has announced MySims Kingdom for Wii and DS, the follow-up to last year's 2.8 million unit selling MySims titles for Nintendo's two consoles. MySims Kingdom is set for release this coming autumn.

MySims Kingdom is set to take the saga to a land of fairy tales, as you'll be meeting characters such as King Roland, Princess Butter, and Wizard Marlon this time around. King Rowland will set gamers the challenge of making the Kingdom a better place.

Filled with castles and any number of other fantastical things, the Kingdom will throw up numerous challenges such as fixing broken bridges, finding treasure chests, and tending to pigs. As things progress you'll eventually unlock more characters, a wider range of buildings to construct, and fascinating contraptions to use.

MySims Kingdom on DS focuses on a small corner of the island where evil lurks. Here you'll have to take part in mini-games and activities to help King Marlon banish the evildoers forever more.

"MySims has been met with such enthusiasm by players and families everywhere, we are excited to make MySims its own franchise within The Sims Label," said Rod Humble, Head of Studio for The Sims Label. "MySims Kingdom has players helping King Roland and his subjects make the MySims world a better place by completing rewarding quests, building houses, bridges or even making contraptions powered by electricity or water. And MySims Kingdom on Nintendo DS, adds many new activities such as kayaking, ski jumping, populating the town zoo and many others!"
