A directory on GAME's website lists MotorStorm for PSP while Bigbig Studios looks for multiplayer programmers...

With most of Sony's established franchises having already made the jump from the PlayStation to its portable younger brother (e.g. Killzone, Ratchet and Clank, and Resistance coming next year), it only makes sense that MotorStorm will also make the jump at some point.

According to a slightly sparse directory on retailer GAME's website, such a project may already be underway. The directory lists MotorStorm for PSP as TBC, although the short product description has been ripped from a press release of last year's PS3 game.

MotorStorm's Sony owned developer, Evolution Studios, is certainly in a good position to produce a PSP spin-off though, as it has Bigbig Studios under its awnings. Bigbig is a specialised PSP developer that has previously carved out the Pursuit Force series and was founded by a group of ex-Codemaster's employees who'd worked on the likes of TOCA and Colin McRae Rally games.

Bigbig is also currently recruiting for a Multiplayer Programmer, so at least if it is developing MotorStorm PSP then we can safely assume that the game will have some sort of multiplayer functionality.
