Next Mortal Kombat Revealed ??? News

US Patent and Trademark Office provides a clue to the title of the next Mortal Kombat game…

The ever-helpful US Patent and Trademark Office once again provided a handy hint towards future titles, this time possibly revealing the new title for the next Mortal Kombat title.

In an application filed on September 23rd, Miday registered the name Mortal Kombat: Shaolin Monks, which naturally seems to suggest a link to Lui Kang (or Kung Lao); however as every MK fan should know, Lui Kang was killed at the start of Mortal Kombat: Deadly Alliance.

Specific details on the title are not yet known, so whether or not this will be the first next-generation Mortal Kombat or the last on the current generation remains questionable.
