*SPOILER* Brutal Modern Warfare 2 Footage Emerges News

We thought adopting a third-person mode was controversial enough, but it seems Infinity Ward is going for the jugular judging by the latest leaked footage that has emerged.

But firstly be warned, this is an extremely graphic spoiler of dramatic in-game action, so hit the back button if you don't want to spoil any surprises.

The footage from Act 1 Scene 4 reveals that the player takes on the role of a terrorist allied to Markov, who during the loading screens is alleged to be behind a campaign of terror across Europe.  Although the accompanying description on Liveleak suggests you're playing as an undercover CIA operative, which explains the ending somewhat.

It's clearly the same sequence as Infinity Ward used during the teaser vid that was released earlier in the year.  In the scene, four characters step outside of an elevator and indiscriminately open fire upon the people inside the airport.  It's pretty brutal and sure to cause plenty of controversy amongst some.  But on the other side, it does portray the brutality that Soap MacTavish is presumably attempting to bring an end to.
 
Judging by the fact that the menu and dialogue is once again in French it seems likely that this leak comes from the same guy who recently revealed the third-person feature.  If Activision or Infinity Ward wants to track this guy down he's clearly visible in the reflection of the TV screen during certain points in this video.
