Infinity Ward's community manager reveals that voice acting is in progress and teases what to expect...
Beyond occasionally throwing the name Modern Warfare 2 around, details on Infinity Ward's hugely anticipated return have been a little thin on the ground. Today that silence has been broken... but don't expect too much.
A small update to Infinity Ward's community manager's blog, FourZeroTwo, reveals:
Reviewing some radio-chatter VO we just finished recording for Modern Warfare 2 today. "Cujo Two-One this is Vulture, solid copy on all."
We're not entirely sure whether anything can be gained from this, but thought it worthy of any update at least, perhaps it won't be too long before the floodgates are finally opened.

jesus christ, i think this countrys government needs to wack themselves over the head!its not asif teens or adults or even kids are gunna get an AK47 with a red dot sight and heartbeat sensor and go around an airport shooting random people
its pathetic, that scene didnt really affect me because i knew it was just a gameand wasnt real, i wasnt shooting reall people and its something that games have never and probably never will do again

It's a bit unclear in Bowling's post, but he seems to be suggesting that the PC version of Modern Warfare 2 sold more units (rather than revenue generated) in like-for-like first week sales compared to CoD4.

Here's a relevant question; by outsold do they mean number of copies sold, or by revenue generated becuase MW2 is 33% more expensive than COD4 for PC, which would explain why MW2 "outsold" COD4. I have a sneaky suspicion that Robert Bowling is trying to prove something to PC gamer's.

That's a bit sexist. I'm male and couldn't actually bring myself to shoot any of the civlians. I know another guy who started shooting and then immediately stopped himself because itt was all a bit too harrowing.

hated the airport scene i tried to kill the terrorists but they just shot me. i ended up skipping the mission.too real looking.if your intention was to shock then it worked.i suspect the male gamers would have no problem killing innocent civilians. thank you AL.DIVA(gamer tag)
