So confident that Modern Warfare 2 will sell, Activision decides to increase the RRP...
Yes we all know that Infinity Ward's Modern Warfare 2 will be the biggest game of the year, possibly the biggest game of all time (ok perhaps not, nothing will stop Wii Sports).
It's a fact that Activision appears to be only too well aware of, with several online retailers indicating that the RRP has been set at £54.99 - five quid more than the normal rate. This is for the standard edition, with no mention of the inevitable Collector's Edition, which will likely cost more than your everyday Collector's Edition.
There's very few reasons for this, beyond the fact that Activision knows it can get away with it, they know people will still buy it regardless of it being an extra fiver.
Of course, both Amazon and Play.com have already discounted the price for pre-orders, so we'd advise getting one booked before somebody decides they can charge even more.
TVG contacted Activision to find out the reasons for such a decision, but was met with a muted wall of silence.

its an 18 asthats the age teens turn into adults or at least thats what the law says however as most 18 yearolds dont behave in a mature manner thses days i could well see this going up to 21 like in america.
