Modern Warfare 2 Gets Its Own 250GB Xbox 360 Console News

Modern Warfare 2's ego surely doesn't require any further massaging.  With a range of versions, night-vision goggles and an inflated RRP, surely that's enough?

Perhaps not, as Activision and Microsoft confirmed that the rumoured Xbox 360 Elite, featuring the 250GB hard drive, will make its first appearance under the guise of a Limited Edition console to celebrate the monumental launch of Modern Warfare 2.

Beyond the increased storage space and a design inspired by the blockbuster sequel, the Xbox 360 Modern Warfare 2 Limited Edition console will also include two wireless controllers, a headset and a standard edition copy of the game - no night-vision goggles with this one.

The bundle will retail for $399.99 in America and is available to pre-order in the region from today.  Other regions availablility and pricing will be confirmed later in the week.
