Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 pre-orders break all records at online retailer...
Amazon.co.uk today confirmed that Modern Warfare 2 has become the biggest selling pre-order of all time, surpassing those of GTA IV beforehand by more than 50%.
"The level of interest in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 has been unprecedented ," said Chris Poad, Director of Video Games at Amazon.co.uk Ltd. "We have seen demand increase rapidly as the release date has drawn closer and it is now benefitting from over 50% more pre-orders than we saw for Grand Theft Auto 4. That is an incredible achievement."
Amazon.co.uk is currently selling Modern Warfare 2 at the lowest price on the Xbox 360 and PS3. Check the lowest prices at the TVG Store.

Here's a relevant question; by outsold do they mean number of copies sold, or by revenue generated becuase MW2 is 33% more expensive than COD4 for PC, which would explain why MW2 "outsold" COD4. I have a sneaky suspicion that Robert Bowling is trying to prove something to PC gamer's.

That's a bit sexist. I'm male and couldn't actually bring myself to shoot any of the civlians. I know another guy who started shooting and then immediately stopped himself because itt was all a bit too harrowing.

hated the airport scene i tried to kill the terrorists but they just shot me. i ended up skipping the mission.too real looking.if your intention was to shock then it worked.i suspect the male gamers would have no problem killing innocent civilians. thank you AL.DIVA(gamer tag)
