HMV will exclusively distribute the Modern Warfare 2 Prestige Edition in the UK for £119.99...
Modern Warfare 2's Prestige Edition will set UK gamers back a hefty £119.99 when it's released this November, with retailer HMV winning the exclusive rights to sell the package in the UK.
HMV is already taking online pre-orders for this Prestige Edition, which will be released for the PS3 and Xbox 360 versions of the game only and will include a set of fully functioning, night vision goggles that will allow users to see up to 50 feet in the dark.
The night vision goggles and Captain 'Soap' MacTavish bust that they rest upon will be joined by an art book, SteelBook casing, and a token for downloading the original Call of Duty from Xbox Live/PSN.
With the exception of the night vision goggles, the rest of the offerings are fairly standard for Collector's Editions, which usually retail in the UK for £59.99. Put another way, this means that gamers are paying somewhere in the region of £60 for the goggles.

its pathetic, that scene didnt really affect me because i knew it was just a gameand wasnt real, i wasnt shooting reall people and its something that games have never and probably never will do again

It's a bit unclear in Bowling's post, but he seems to be suggesting that the PC version of Modern Warfare 2 sold more units (rather than revenue generated) in like-for-like first week sales compared to CoD4.

Here's a relevant question; by outsold do they mean number of copies sold, or by revenue generated becuase MW2 is 33% more expensive than COD4 for PC, which would explain why MW2 "outsold" COD4. I have a sneaky suspicion that Robert Bowling is trying to prove something to PC gamer's.

That's a bit sexist. I'm male and couldn't actually bring myself to shoot any of the civlians. I know another guy who started shooting and then immediately stopped himself because itt was all a bit too harrowing.
