Michael Mann's updated summer movie inspires this third-person shooter from Sierra...
Sierra Entertainment has announced that Tubbs and Crockett will be heading exclusively to PSP later this year in Miami Vice: The Game. Inspired by the forthcoming movie from Michael Mann players follow the two Miami cops as they try to infiltrate and shut down an underground group run by a South American drug lord.
Building a reputation is said to be an essential part in the gameplay, with objectives including Drug Trading, Hacking, and interactive cutscenes all working towards the ultimate goal of shutting down the operation. Miami Vice: The Game will also feature shootouts on speedboats through the waterways of the Florida city, as well as co-operative two-player gameplay across Ad Hoc Wi-Fi.
Miami Vice: The Game will be the second title based on the IP released in eighteen months (though the previous game was produced by Davilex), with UK developers Rebellion taking the helm.
Miami Vice: The Game is set for a July 2006 release on PSP, we'll have more news shortly...
