Nintendo purchases a majority share in the Metroid Prime developer.
Nintendo announced that it has purchased $1million in Retro Studios stock; giving the Japanese giant a majority share in the US based developer. Previous owner Jeff Spangenberg, has decided to pursue other business interests, as Nintendo took the decision based solely on the developers work on Metroid Prime.
