Only 10 seconds, but probably the most exciting 10 seconds you'll face today...

As previously expected, Nintendo displayed the first footage of Metroid Prime 2 in action during their pre-E3 conference.<br><br>Although the footage only lasts for 10secs it’s certainly given us an insight into what to expect from the sequel – thankfully much of the same…<br><br>Specific details are naturally being kept a secret for the moment, however it’s good to see the game is already at a relatively complete stage and certainly looks like impressing us once again.<br><br>Surprisingly Nintendo chairman Satoru Iwata, confirmed during the presentation that the original Metroid Prime had sold below their expectations; let’s hope that Metorid Prime 2 doesn’t face the same situation as a number of AAA Dreamcast titles that were released towards the end of the format’s lifecycle and floundered because of it.<br><br>We’ll have more details on Metroid Prime 2 soon…
