Fundraising group planning a 72 hour Metroid marathon to raise money for Child’s Play charity...
A collection of gamers at The Returners are setting themselves up for a 72 hour Metroid marathon. Not in honor of the forthcoming return of Samus Aran in Metroid: Other M, but for the noble cause of raising some money for Child’s Play.
The session begins on August 27th at 18:00 (CST) and end on August 30th at 18:00 (CST) - 12:00 start and finish for us Brits.
During the period the group will attempt to play as many titles in the Metroid series as humanly possible, which you can easily follow and offer encouragement via the live broadcast.
Donations are going to be collected through the ChipIn widget for ease of use and security, although anyone with an active PayPal account or a credit/debit card can donate. All donations are sent directly to Child’s Play, so please give what you can as it's all for a good cause.
