THQ confirms Metro: Last Light as the sequel to last year's Metro 2033...
As part of its fiscal results for the 2011 financial year, THQ has confirmed the title for the next instalment in its Metro 2033 series, Metro: Last Light.
Internet detectives had unearthed the Metro: Last Light title in domain registrations earlier this year, so this serves as little more than a confirmation from THQ as no details on the game have been shared at this time.
Metro 2033 was set in the aftermath of a nuclear holocaust through Moscow's network of underground Metro stations. The game was based on a novel written by Dimitry Glukhovsky and was developed by 4A Games, which is now in place to develop the Metro: Last Light sequel.
