An autumn release for the first original title in the Metal Slug series...
For the handful of gamers who still reminisce over the good old days, Ignition Entertainment today announced an autumn European release for Metal Slug 7 on the Nintendo DS.
Joining the hallowed ranks shared by the likes of Police Academy, Metal Slug 7 is the first title in the once popular run-and-gun series not to be a conversion of an arcade original.
Ralf Jones and Clark Steel make a return from Metal Slug 6, joining the established cast that includes Marco, Fio, Tarma, and Eri as they fight against General Morden across 7 missions. A host of new weapons await along with the promise of the biggest and baddest SLUG vehicle to date.
"With a Metal Slug game you know that you're going to have a hugely enjoyable experience," says Peter Rollinson, Product Manager, Ignition Entertainment. "The latest addition to this great franchise will continue that trend."
