Big Boss makes an appearance on the PSP in a Snake Eater sequel...
As we suspected, Hideo Kojima is probably the most popular guy in town right about now. Following his appearance at Microsoft's conference last night, Kojima-san turned up at Sony's even to reveal Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker for the PSP. OK it wasn't the announcement we were expecting, but eh!
Set in 1979 – ten years after the events of Snake Eater – Peace Walker is described as a true sequel to Metal Gear Solid 3, with Kojima-san heading development along with the rest of the team at Kojima Productions. Once again players take on the role of Big Boss, Peace Walker takes place in Costa Rica with an unknown enemy forming what will become Outer Haven – the original Metal Gear.
For somebody who once said they've seen the back of MGS, Kojima-san sure seems to have changed his mind.
Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker is due for release in 2010. Expect further details shortly.

I think he just craves the attention he gets from MGS fans whenever he threatens to quit.

Aahh he says he's seen the back of it after every game. It's just way to lucrative for him.
