Metal Gear Solid creator reveals that he has a secret up his sleeve for Peace Walker...

Hideo Kojima is pretty well known for teasing a waiting audience and playing tricks, so the revelation that he has a surprise in store for Peace Walker on the PSP comes as no surprise.

"I'm putting everything I want to do on a portable console into this game," Kojima-san told Famitsu (translated by 1UP). "I haven't announced this yet, but there's another feature in here that will surprise people, to the point where they'll want to go out and buy a PSP right now!"

What exactly is he on about?  The only thing that seems to sell PSP's at the moment is Monster Hunter and that's specifically in Japan; perhaps Snake takes on a side job vanquishing monsters in Costa Rica.

The Famitsu article also mentions that Peace Walker will incorporate Yamaha Corporation's Vocaloid technology, which allows users to synthesize singing by typing in lyrics and a melody.  1UP reports that this will be used for AI-based weapons - guns that sing!?!

I think he just craves the attention he gets from MGS fans whenever he threatens to quit.

Aahh he says he's seen the back of it after every game. It's just way to lucrative for him.
