John Schappert speaks out about Kojima's "masterpiece" after Konami confirms looking into an Xbox 360 version...
Microsoft's Corporate Vice-President of Live, Software and Services, John Schappert, has wants to see Metal Gear Solid 4 on the Xbox 360 and claims that Microsoft's machine has more than enough "horsepower" to achieve that.
This follows Konami's confirmation earlier this week that it is considering an Xbox 360 version. Yoshitaka Arai, a Spokesperson for the publisher, told Morningstar, "The worldwide demand for an Xbox 360 version [of MGS4] is quite high, and it is something we are currently looking in to."
Now Schappert has spoken out about how much he wants the title on Microsoft's next-gen machine, telling MCV: "I'm certainly in the fan club that would love to see Kojima-san's masterpiece come our way. It would be wonderful to play Metal Gear Solid on the Xbox. It could become another of the many franchises that started their life on another console that are now coming our way.
"I can't speak on behalf of Konami, but I can shed more light on the fact that we definitely have the power to run MGS4.
"There are a lot of recent examples that are in true high-def on our platform and aren't on PS3. We've got an amazing amount of horsepower and graphics power."
While rumours have been floating around about an Xbox 360 version of MGS4 since last summer, this is the first example where both Microsoft and Konami seem to be in confluence on the matter.

As much as I'd like to play this on the Xbox 360 I won't put too much trust in these until I see an official announcement. Even still, judging by what he said in the article, they could simply put it on the PC.
People that are saying he would not put it on the Xbox should realize that Metal Gear Solid 2 was on the Xbox. I wouldn't rule it out completely. Metal Gear Solid and Metal Gear Solid 2 were both on the PC however.
