Konami has announced that the MGO beta will now start on April 26th, five days later than originally planned...
Following yesterday's delay of the Metal Gear Online beta until an unspecified time, Konami has now confirmed a restart date for the beta. It will now go live at midnight (PDT) on April 25th (8:00am on April 26th in the UK).
However, Konami were still cautious about this re-instated start time, commenting that, "While the start is planned for the weekend, it may change due to unforeseen circumstances."
As a result of this delay to the beta, Konami has extended the end date from May 6th on the original schedule to May 11th, providing a further five days of MGO fun.

As much as I'd like to play this on the Xbox 360 I won't put too much trust in these until I see an official announcement. Even still, judging by what he said in the article, they could simply put it on the PC.
People that are saying he would not put it on the Xbox should realize that Metal Gear Solid 2 was on the Xbox. I wouldn't rule it out completely. Metal Gear Solid and Metal Gear Solid 2 were both on the PC however.
