Konami Confirms European MGO Leg News
Compete in the inaugural Metal Gear Online Championship to win a trip to Tokyo...

Fancy yourself as a first-rate stealth operative and fancy putting it up for the test? Konami today outlined plans for the European leg of the inaugural Metal Gear Online Championship, with entrants competing to win a luxury trip to Tokyo.
Four preliminary tournaments will take place each week from August 15th. Each tournament will span 16 games of 16 teams competing in Team Deathmatch: Direct Elimination over 15 minutes per round. Teams will feature six players per team and one back-up member, with the top two teams from each preliminary tournament proceeding to one of two European Final Tournaments.
The two European Final Tournaments will be played in September, with 16 teams each competing for the main prize of a trip to Tokyo between October 9-13th. The fun doesn't end there, however, with entry for the Grand World Finals at this year's Tokyo Game Show where further prizes await the successful teams!
Phew! It seems understanding the organisation of the event is a little more challenging than actually competing - best of luck.

As much as I'd like to play this on the Xbox 360 I won't put too much trust in these until I see an official announcement. Even still, judging by what he said in the article, they could simply put it on the PC.
People that are saying he would not put it on the Xbox should realize that Metal Gear Solid 2 was on the Xbox. I wouldn't rule it out completely. Metal Gear Solid and Metal Gear Solid 2 were both on the PC however.

Everyone should understand that MGS4 won't come to Xbox Kojima has enough money and he doesn't need sell the game to Microdoft which is a American company. Americans used the atom bomb so I don't think he 'd do it. BTW He already announced there wont be MGS4 for xbox

i just got an ipod touch for mgs by selling 20 of my 360 games, now all i need to do is sell the rest of my 360 games along with the crappy console so i can get a real games machine ie the ps3.
the 360 realy dont cut it as for popular franchises hows about mass effect or bio shock hell even left 4 dead is set to come out for ps3 but the main franchise has already come out on ps3 and will never grace the 360 (hd-dvd is long gone) and with killzone 2 and gran turismo 5 due out this year im looking forward to getting rid of my rrod crap box.
