Mercs 2 Free Fuel Publicity Causes Chaos News

EA gives away £20,000 worth of fuel leading to carnage at a Finsbury Park petrol station...

A publicity stunt to promote Mercenaries 2: World in Flames has caused chaos at a London petrol station, as car drivers queued in their hundreds to put up to £40 worth of fuel in their tanks for nothing.

The BBC reports that up to 150 vehicles were queuing at the station by 7:30 this morning, with a total of £20,000 worth of free fuel up for grabs. Allegedly security staff were having to deal with rowdy customers when tempers started to mount during the rush hour.

Car horns rang throughout the station as the queue caused congestion on the other side of the road, with opinions on the stunt meeting a mixed response.
