Keiji Inafune reportedly handing out business cards for his new ‘Comcept’ studio...

Rumours are circulating that famed Mega Man designer Keiji Inafune has set up a new development studio, following a tweet from a Japanese Securities Analyst. Apparently the Capcom luminary handed the businessman a card bearing the company name Comcept during a chance encounter in the streets of Tokyo.

Inafune-san left Capcom after a long and distinguished career at the company, during which he oversaw the Mega Man and Onimusha series. He contributed to just about every Capcom franchise there is, most recently heading up production on Dead Rising and Street Fighter 4.

The famed designer has been very critical of Japanese videogame business practices in the past, saying that "Japan is at least five years behind" Western developers.
