Take 2 Interactive pushes Max Payne 3 into the fourth quarter of its fiscal 2010, between August and October of next year...
Following Take 2 Interactive's decision to push Max Payne 3 into its fiscal 2010 earlier this year, the publisher has now set back the title's release even further by clarifying that it won't be launched until August 2010 at the earliest.
Take 2 revealed the delay in its fiscal 2009 results, stating that Max Payne 3 now won't arrive until the fourth quarter of its current fiscal year (i.e. sometime between August 1st and October 31st next year).
We were a little dubious about the first batch of screens for Max Payne 3 so, with any luck, Take 2 and Rockstar has taken the decision to go back to the drawing board with the game and make it look a bit more like the Max Paynes of old.

Yeah they did - but 3D Realms don't have any interest in Max Payne anymore, Rockstar owns the IP.
