Microsoft confirms that Bioware's sci-fi RPG has gone gold, along with details of Mass Effect's Limited Edition...
Microsoft Game Studios has today confirmed that development on Mass Effect, produced by the recently acquired Bioware Corporation, has been completed and has gone gold ahead of its release on Xbox 360 next month. Additional details have also been released about the Limited Edition of the highly anticipated game.
Together with a book (Galactic Codex: Essentials) that details the Mass Effect universe and a second book of artwork, the Limited Edition will come with a bonus disc featuring several documentaries, 18 Gamer Pictures, 16 Dashboard Themes, 10 songs for the Mass Effect soundtrack, a gallery of concept art, historical trailers for the game...and a Blue Dragon demo .
US gamers who pre-order either editions of Mass Effect will also receive another disc featuring Gamer Pics, themes, a soundtrack sample, and a short documentary. It's unknown whether a similar offer will be available to European gamers ahead of Mass Effect's launch on November 23rd.

AAAAAAMMMMAAAAZING GAME! Finest RPG I've played in years! Must play more.
Always baffles me the space monkeys that could not like this game. Roughly equal to the amount of people who put forks in toasters...

This game sucked serious balls; the terrible cut scenes and bright colourful and unfitting graphics it was just all round terrible. The only thing I enjoyed was being able to chose what you say, other than that this game is facked.
