Sonic & Mario's Olympic Dream Events News
SEGA reveals new modes and Mii options in the forthcoming Sonic & Mario at the Olympic Games...

Following today's announcement that Sonic will be making his Smash Bros debut, SEGA today continued the revelations with two new modes from the first game to pit their mascot against the dungaree wearing plumber.
Dream Events switch the likes of the 100m sprint and long jump for something far more colourful and "game-like", complete with objects and power-ups that can provide assistance or a hindrance to another player.
The four Dream events featured are:
- Dream Race (Sandhill Race Course) - Get on your marks for this intense power-up filled race course, made for either one player, or as many as four.
- Dream Platform (Tropical Reef Diving Area - 10,000M Diving) - More like skydiving, soar through hoops and perform aerial tricks while avoiding obstacles and opponents to reach the finish line first.
- Dream Fencing (Duel Wharf Fencing Beach) - With unique special attacks for each character, this jungle-inspired world offers the ultimate duel.
- Dream Table Tennis (Speed Rally Table Tennis Stadium) - A sci-fi wonderland, this magical table tennis extravaganza offers a special ability for each character - so move fast!
In addition, SEGA has also revealed that Wii owners will be able to play as their Mii characters against the likes of Sonic and Mario to compete in the Dream Events or the main game Olympic challenges.

the n64 (ultra 64) was made in 1997 just after the snes era which lasted quite some time till sony killed off nintendo (if only sony knew nintendo would bounce back as well as they have maybe they might have made a console that doesnt cost so much to make as they did)

Surely this is THEE best new game to hit us since Super Mario Allstars on SNES??? Only had this game since tuesday, but already completely and utterly addicted. I just can't get enough. Amazing graphics, amazing variety of games to compete in, a very wide and varied choice of characters (and best of all, you can even take your own Mii character to the olympics!!!!), amazing sound effects, and most of all, immense amounts of fun. Think about all the chocolate you could give the worlds hugest chocolate lover, or all the shoes and handbags you could give to your mother, imagine all the sports memorbillia and alcohol beverages your dad could ever wish for, or just imagine all your birthdays and christmas's just came at once! That's seriously how much fun and enjoyment i'm getting from Mario & Sonic at the Olympics. My favourite games so far are deffinately Long Jump, and 100m Swimming.. However all of the mini games have become highly addictive and entertaining wether playing by myself, with friends, or even with the family! Suitable for all players at all levels, i'd say this game is without doubt a MUST buy... and if you're too skint to buy it now, deffinately add it to your Christmas Wish List!!! Mario or Sonic?? Whichever team you're on, you're gauranteed to have hours and hours of fun, entertainment, laughter and giggles, and a lot of competing!!! If the game entered the olympics, without a doubt it'd be miles ahead of everyone else and straight in with the GOLD!!!
