Nintendo confirms to UK industry publication that the offensive word has been removed; party game to launch in early August...
Nintendo has today confirmed to UK industry publication MCV that Mario Party 8 will re-launch across the country from August 3rd. A nationwide recall of the game had taken place within hours of it going on sale, after the word 'spastic' was used by a character following a poor player's performance.
Speaking to MCV, Nintendo UK representatives said: "We are confident we have taken the correct appropriate levels and action necessary and in all new versions of the game there are no issues - however we cannot 100 per cent guarantee that every copy of the initial batch was returned to us and as such there may still be a small number of copies of the game in circulation."
Mario Party 8 is the first instalment in the long-running series released on Wii, and had originally launched across Europe on July 13th.

i think the game has lots of good mini games but the board games make it boring it takes for ever to finish one game and when you win two, you lose! but other than that i love the game!especially the mini games when you on a battle!
