Take-Two Interactive confirms that an unauthorised leak of Rockstar Games' uncertified title came from within SCEE...
Getting your game leaked online isn't something new - Bungie had to endure it ahead of the mega-launch of Halo 2 back in 2004 for instance - but when the title is the controversial Manhunt 2, then that's something a little different due to its uncertified status in the UK. Until now, no-one has admitted to the leak, which occurred earlier in the Autumn but thanks to a little digging, politically-centric gaming site GamePolitics has finally revealed that the source was an employee of Sony Computer Entertainment Europe.
According to the report, the employee has been identified and has had their contract terminated for the offence. In a statement to GamePolitics, representatives from Take-Two Interactive revealed:
"Take-Two Interactive has confirmed that a former employee of Sony Computer Entertainment Europe (SCEE) has acknowledged his responsibility for the unauthorized online distribution of an unrated play-test version of Manhunt 2 submitted for the European PAL PlayStation 2 computer entertainment system."
An amended version of the game is due to go on sale in North America in time for Halloween - UK gamers just have to hope that the Video Appeals Committee will overturn the BBFC's decision not to award even this edition of Manhunt 2 an age rating.

If they keep blocking the release of this game dont the sugar heads relise that this is getting more advertisment for the game in general and people that wouldnt normally playthis game are gonna buy it just out of courosity!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! these are the alternate endings of manhunt 2 DONT READ IF YOU HAVE THE GAME and havent played the end. the first end is danny kills leo. danny automatically wakes up in the middle of a street somewhere and recieves a letter of his new identity and a address to go to live in and basically he has to start a new life and it is a cliffhanger sort of. the second ending is leo killing danny in a shootout sadly. he steps on danny and kills him after he makes him angry by saying oh i killed your wife and that. then like the physcho he is he screams i wooooooooooooooooooooooooooon and wakes up. a nurse wakes danny up and tells him hes been in a coma the past 3 weeks. leo is know 100% control of danny's body. he asks the nurse if he can have a minute then looks in the mirror and see leo face. but he is in danny's body and that is the end. cool endings both ways. thanking you for reading post comments if you wish.

I played this game last few days, it so nice, everything it's very nice, specially the dialogue. It's realy different from the other survival horror, I played. It's realistic, It'seems I feel the presence of the enemy, like I played I was the character in the story. Very good, excellent.
