Malice is beginning to SHOW signs of promise, the visuals are certainly amazing...

Argonaut recently showcased for the first time ever their first X-Box game, codenamed Malice. TVG was one of the first people to see this stunning game currently running on a hige end PC; a P1000 with nVidia's GeForce 2 card (according to the big cheese at Argonaut, Jez San believes this cardm pales next to X-Box's technical specs).

From the early screens shown below Malice is shapping up to be one hell of a game and if the graphics continue to expand in new directions, we could have a great title on our hands.

The developers were very secretive when discussing the plot behind Malice, however we have been informed that it involves a female character who morphs into a child and then various animals throughout the game.

From the screenshots on display here the game is looking to be a Banjo Tooie clone, or something of the sort. However as soon as we get more details regarding Malice we promise to keep you informed.

The screenshots just go to show how impressive this game really is, chraracters cast shadows in realtime on themselves, the landscape and other characters, the impressive bump-mapping adds visual depth and more emphasis to the textures.
