Iconic NFL analyst and commentator signs a new multi-year deal with Electronic Arts...
EA has today announced that they have signed a new multi-year deal with John Madden, the almost iconic American Football commentator and analyst to continue fronting the â??Madden NFLâ?? franchise. The franchise, which is now in its 16th year and is EAâ??s best selling sports series to date, is set to continue with Madden NFL 06.
Making the announcement Electronic Arts Chairman and CEO Larry Probst said, â??John Madden personifies authentic football in any medium -- television or interactiveâ?¦We look forward to a great future with John in EA SPORTS Madden NFL."
"I am proud that we started to develop Madden Football twenty years ago," said Madden. "Each year our goal is to improve the game, and with EA, we have been able to do that."
