Despite rumours emanating from Australia that MadWorld may be a multiplatform release, SEGA tells us otherwise...
After rumours crept onto Australian sites today suggesting that MadWorld may be gearing up for a multiplatform release, we checked in with SEGA UK to see whether there was any substance behind the reports, where a Spokesperson for the publisher plainly told us that MadWorld is "Only on Wii".
The original reports came from a rating of the game by the Australian Classification Board, which gave MadWorld a Mature 15+ rating while also noting that the title is "Multi Platform".
When TVG contacted SEGA UK for clarification, a Spokesperson was quick to debunk the rumour, plainly stating that the goretastic Battle Royale themed romp is "Only on Wii".

ive been looking forward to this since i first saw it so if it gets banned i might just have to give up on games if there just gonn be banned because there to violent when its nothing compared to half the films that come out if its that vilent stick an 18 on it like they do with films and dont tell me what i cant play geeze it makes me so angry

OMG the videogame haters are going to have fun with this. The visual style is very nice, but surely it's an easy way to classify it as fantasy when it comes to the BBFC - shrewd!
