PSP-exclusive flight combat/racing title is announced by the Vivendi Games subsidiary.

Sierra Entertainment has today confirmed the development of 'M.A.C.H. (Modified Air Combat Heroes)' for PSP, with a release date during the spring.

Currently in production at Kuju Entertainment (which recently ended their contract with LucasArts for another PSP title, 'Traxion'), 'M.A.C.H'. is set several decades in the future, at a time when decommissioned fighter pilots race and dogfight in jets across the world's skies. Besides the instant action of the Arcade mode, 'M.A.C.H.' will also include a Career mode, allowing players to upgrade their jet's look and capabilities as they rise through the ranks. Five challenge gametypes (MACH Melée, MACH Dash, Time Check, MACH Lap and Dog Tag) will also feature in the game.

As well as the Single-Player modes, 'M.A.C.H.' will also feature multiplayer gametypes for up to eight players via PSP Wi-Fi Ad Hoc, and will utilise the system's Game Share facility so only a single copy of the game is required.
