Stephen Fry Narrating Another LittleBigPlanet Game??? [UPDATE] News

National treasure Stephen Fry is lending his voice to the "2nd edition of a video game"...

Avid Twitterer (is that the right colloquial phrase for one who Tweets?) Stephen Fry has revealed via the networking site that he's currently doing voice-over work for the sequel of a video game, strongly suspected to be a LittleBigPlanet title.

"Morning all. In studio today voicing 2nd edition of a video game. Will check when I'm there if I'm allowed to say what it is...," Fry said via Twitter.

Fry narrated the much loved LittleBigPlanet from Media Molecule last year, which strongly suggests that this "2nd edition" he speaks of is another LittleBigPlanet title. However, the game is unlikely to be a full sequel to last November's PS3 game and, instead, is probably the PSP spin-off announced by Sony earlier this year as voice-over work is usually done towards the end of a game's development cycle.

UPDATE: Stephen Fry has confirmed via Twitter that he was providing voice-over narration today for the forthcoming LittleBigPlanet spin-off for PSP.

"I've come to the end of a lush voice-athon and yes, am empowered to confess that it was for a new PSP version of Little Big Planet," he confirmed.

This suggests that the game is nearing the end of its development cycle, so hopefully it'll be released sooner rather than later.
