Lips Mics Support Guitar Hero: Metallica & Rock Band 2 News

Microsoft allows its wireless microphones to be used with other (more popular) music titles...

Microsoft finally gave Xbox 360 gamers a reason to own Lips, its SingStar clone, with confirmation that the wireless microphones can be used with Guitar Hero: Metallica and Rock Band 2.

Initially the mics will be compatible with Guitar Hero: Metallica, though a later system update (due in the summer) will expand the support to Rock Band 2. Microsoft also promises that further compatibility with additional titles will occur later in the year.

Tagging onto the news, Microsoft confirmed that the dozen or so people playing Lips will have extra tracks to download, including:

	By: Anonymous Added:Tue 28th Jul 2009 07:26, Post No: 17 this is to the person who asked what they were doing wrongs because the spngs didnt show up on their profile. the thing is.. whoever signed in and uploaded their songs is the only one who can see then..YOU have re-upload them on your profile in order to see them as well. and i have also discovered that you cant sing the songs that you uploaded unless you plugg in your ipod/mp3/etc. that MUST be plugged in..in order for the song to play.

	By: Anonymous Added:Thu 25th Dec 2008 22:57, Post No: 11 you cant cross transfer downloaded material from 1 gamer tag to another its always been that way and the mp3's will be associated with your kids gamer tags, your not doing anything wrong just you need to get points on your kids tags to download new songs ect (if you look in the terms and condisions it states you cannot transfer downloaded material that you needed to use point to gain accross gamer tags)
