Microsoft Game Studios has today confirmed the first sets of downloadable content for karaoke game, Lips, which arrives in the UK today.

Bumping up the forty tracks packaged on the game disc on launch day are four songs from the likes of Estelle and Coldplay, available for 160 Microsoft Points (£1.34) each. Microsoft has also confirmed details of the next set of DLC due next week.

Week One Global Content; available November 21:
Adele - Chasing Pavements
Estelle - No Substitute Love
Jason Mraz - The Remedy (I Won't Worry)
Coldplay - Violet Hill

Week Two Global Content; available November 28:

Supertramp - Give a Little Bit
Smash Mouth - All Star
Vanessa Carlton - A Thousand Miles

The publisher has announced that more 'seasonal' offerings will be heading to the game from December 5th - TVG wonders whether Chris De Burgh's "A Spaceman Came Travelling" will make it.

As long as The Pogues and Kirsty MacCall's "Fairytale of New York" is there we'll be happy...

I recommend SingSong for PC. Not so colorfull like Lips, but with SingSong you can easily make your own songs you like and the full version comes with ~350 songs.

you cant cross transfer downloaded material from 1 gamer tag to another its always been that way and the mp3's will be associated with your kids gamer tags, your not doing anything wrong just you need to get points on your kids tags to download new songs ect (if you look in the terms and condisions it states you cannot transfer downloaded material that you needed to use point to gain accross gamer tags)

I have downloaded the A-Ha Take on me through XBOX Live using my account sign on. But when anyone else in the family uses the XBOX and sign in as themselves, the track is not there? In fact only the original 40 tracks on the disk are on everybodies sign ons? I can't see anything that my children have loaded from MP3 player? What what are we doing wrong?
