Disgruntled former employees take the game to Japan after reports of a mass exodus...

The as-of-yet unconfirmed Lineage III hit the headlines last week, in a report appearing in the Chosun suggesting that it has been the subject of theft from a group of disgruntled former programmers.

Speaking to the Seoul Metropolitan Police, the report alleges that seven former employees are suspected of stealing the code and selling the technology to a major unknown Japanese game company.

The report further suggests that the seven members allowed the company to review the game during a job interview, and suggests that the former employees also leaked the game design by e-mail or last September.

Casting a further shadow of doubt over the future of Lineage III, Chosun claims that the project has suffered from problems since a senior lead game designer was fired for poor management skills, which prompted many of the 90-man team to follow suit.
