Playdead Studios announces worldwide release dates for the PSN and Steam versions of Limbo...
Playdead Studios has nailed down release dates for the PSN and Steam versions of Limbo, with Sony's digi-download platform set to receive the title on July 20th here in Europe (July 19th in the US) before the title comes to Steam on August 2nd.
Given that the original Xbox Live Arcade version launched last year on July 21st, it's likely that Playdead had a one year exclusive deal set up with Microsoft for Limbo. It's a deal that's evidently benefitted both parties too, as Limbo was the third highest selling title on XBLA last year (11th highest selling of all time) with 527,000 unit sales that generated $7.5 million (£4.7 million) in revenues.

according to digital spy, the dev has confirmed it's coming to psn and steam on pc too.

Limbo was my digi-download game of the year for 2010. It was a close run thing with Super Meat Boy, but I think Limbo just pips it for style, aesthetics, and the superb puzzles.
