Left 4 Dead Release Date Pushed Back News
Valve pushes back the release of Left 4 Dead by a fortnight to coincide with Half-Life's 10th anniversary...

Although we were previously expecting Left 4 Dead to reach UK retailers on November 7th, Valve has now announced that the game will be released on August 21st to coincide with the 10th anniversary of Half-Life.
Valve head-honcho, Gabe Newell, told Gamekings.tv, "Left 4 Dead is going to be released on the 10th anniversary of Half-Life, the first game. So that will be on November 20th, which is the third week in November."
Valve's Marketing Director, Doug Lombardi, later clarified to fan site Left 4 Dead 411 that the frenzied zombie shooter will be released on November 18th in the US and November 21st in Europe.
Half-Life was first released on November 19th during 1998. Let's just hope Left 4 Dead can live up to the billing of such a hallowed date.
