Valve's Doug Lombardi confirms the fact that an all-new gamplay mode will appear in the sequel...
With the deluge of news articles that spawned from Doug Lombardi's brief jaunt over to London to showcase Left 4 Dead 2, we almost lost track of another little nugget that Valve's VP of Marketing dropped upon us.
Joining the Campaign, Versus, and Survival modes, Left 4 Dead 2 will also see a fourth, currently as-of-yet unannounced gameplay mode.
Responding to our question as to what we can expect from the sequel, Lombardi claimed:
"With Left 4 Dead 2 you're going to have five campaigns, each of them the same size as the original if not a little larger. All five of them will be playable in Versus mode, all five of them will be playable in Survival mode, and then there's a fourth yet unrevealed gameplay mode that will be included as well."

actually post 76 lfd2 actually starts off before the infected reached savvanah where they were and they were hearing about these things that were happening in lfd ....so they are around the same time roughly

post 79 that sneaking mode isnt exactly new there was an achievement on the 360 where you had to sneak past all the witches on what ever sinario you were playing on.

The new gameply mode should be instead of fighting through zombies you have to sneak around them.
