Following the continued success of the LEGO themed videogames in 2008, anonymous sources confirmed to TVG that this year will continue to be filled with brightly coloured blocks.

Amidst rumours of Harry Potter undergoing the brick treatment and some suggestion that the unlikely sounding Rock Band could follow, our source claimed that the first title to emerge will likely be the rumoured sequel to LEGO Indiana Jones.  Tentatively entitled LEGO Indiana Jones 2, TVG understands that the game will primarily be based around last year's movie Indiana Jones and the Crystal Skull, complimented with challenge modes based on key moments from the rest of the series.

Our source also confirmed that the slightly odd sounding LEGO Rock Band is on the cards.  Designed to cater for a younger audience, our source suggests there's some hope for a specific LEGO themed peripheral for the title - although whether you'll actually have to build it yourself remains unknown.

Finally a LEGO Harry Potter will eventually see the light of day; however we don't expect this to emerge until 2010 at the very least.
