Hideo Kojima states that he will not be announcing any new games at GDC later today...
We already know that Hideo Kojima is working on two new game projects but we don't know the who, what, when, where, and whys of either title. Some had suggested that he may be ready to announce one of them at his GDC keynote speech later today, a point that he has now firmly rebutted.
"I'm not going to be talking about new titles or anything," Kojima told 1up. "I'll leave that for sometime later." Sometime later being LA in the summer, according to reports from IGN, where Kojima is quoted as saying, "An official game announcement will be made at E3."
Kojima revealed in a Famitsu interview late last year that he's currently involved in two game projects, while his stance on the Metal Gear Solid series is that he'd prefer not ot be involved with MGS5.
The legendary designer's first keynote speech at GDC is due to kick-off in San Francisco at 5.30 GMT (10.30am PST).

Well if you want to take it that far back then it was also on the MSX... But the fact remains that MGS: Rising is a spin-off; it's not the true next title in MGS.
