TVG discovers that Ubisoft's enigmatic FPS is currently sitting on hold...

Announced by way of three screenshots released shortly after last year's E3, Ubisoft's next-gen FPS, Killing Day, was conspicious in the absence of any specific information on the title.

Since then talk on the title has remained on the conservative side of non-existent, as TVG has recently learnt from a close source that development has indeed been put on indefinite hold.

It's believed the shots released back in May 2005 were from concepts on the Playstation 3, so whether the continued issues facing the format's launch have had any effect on the title is currently unknown; it's entirely possible that Ubisoft are just holding back until becoming more confident of when the PS3 will actually arrive.

Attempts to clarify the situation with Ubisoft representatives were met with a wall of silence, but hopefully TVG will hopefully have further information soon.
