TJ Combo boxing glove appears in this year's Rare Christmas card...

It was a hint laden Christmas card from Rare that first alerted the gaming world to the Microsoft acquisition back in 2001, and ever since then we eagerly await the e-card arriving in our inbox.  It seems Christmas just can't really begin until it appears.

This year the following card arrived.  Killer Instinct fans won't need the boxing glove labelled to TJ pointed out; an obvious reference to TJ Combo, but surely a joke that is getting a little thin.

Will Rare actually deliver Killer Instinct 3 in 2010?  Is anybody actually that bothered by it anymore?  The fact that other wrapped presents include tennis racquets and balls is probably a better bet; some family-orientated Natal fun from Rare in 2010 wethinks.

Motion control Killer instinct 3!!! Sounds [#@!?]. Imagine trying to pull of an 80hit combo with the motion censor lmfao. Its bull[#@!?]. Capcom stuck to the tried and tested control interface and it works as well as ever in street fighter 4 than ever. I hope they don't destroy one of my all time favourite games.

Natal for Killer Instinct 3 - that would be crazy, how on earth could you pull out a 75-hit Ultra combo with Natal?  It would kill ya.

Lets just face it. Rare have done nothing that has blown us away since being taken over by microsoft. Look at the nintendo days, Banjo Kazooie, Jet force gemini, Perfect dark, Donkykong 64,and lets not forget " goldeneye"

The transition from one console to another has been far from overwhelming, and Rare need to realise that the people playing the new games are the same people who played the old nintendo games.

We don't want cute games like viva pinata, or remakes like " perfect dark zero"... We want the old RARE who blew us away with awesome, cutting edge games

There is life in the old dog yet, i just hope it rears its ugly head soon
