Eidos and IO Interactive set to stretch the definition of cooperation...

The publication of details from a Game Informer first look may have taken away some of the surprise from today's announcement by Eidos of a new title currently in development at the Danish-based IO Interactive.

Kane & Lynch: Dead Men promises a story-driven, fully co-operative third-person action title, along similar lines to EA's Army of Two. A dark and gritty tale of two men bound by circumstance as they wait on death row; one a flawed mercenary, the other a medicated psychopath. Forced to embark on a violent and chaotic journey, the unlikely couple stage their escape in a heavily populated, destructible real-world, which promises to keep the tabloids happy.

"No gamer will have experienced anything like this before, both graphically and in terms of gameplay. Take IO's innovation and graphical excellence from the Hitman series, add some of their widely acclaimed squad expertise from Freedom Fighters, then take these to a new level in next-generation technology. Add a gripping story, an anti-hero and a psychopath and you get Kane & Lynch: Dead Men; the ultimate next generation experience," said Larry Sparks, Global Head of Brands Management at Eidos.

Kane & Lynch: Dead Men is slated for a 2007 release on the Xbox 360 and PC; look out for more on the title soon.

no online co-op and the shooting is slightly off, some levels require precise shooting which is hard because there is no precise shooting in the game just spray and pray

good game, with just a few glitches here and there. But much more improved that Hitman, especially with multiplayer
