Just Cause Confirmed For September 22nd News

Eidos announces the date that San Esperito's dictator will be toppled...

Eidos has today confirmed that Just Cause, developed by Avalanche Studios for Xbox 360, Xbox, PlayStation2, and PC, will be released across Europe on September 22nd.

Set on the 250,000 acres of San Esperito, Just Cause is an open-world title where gamers follow CIA operative Rico Rodriguez on his mission to topple the WMD-obsessed dictator. A demo of the game has been available for Xbox 360 and PC gamers since the end of August.

"Consumers have less than four weeks until they can freefall into the world of Just Cause. It's one of the largest worlds ever seen in a video game, and the level of detail from either 10,000 ft or 1ft away is breath-taking, so we're looking forward to see what our customers think of it," said Dave Clark, European Marketing Director.
