THQ announce world publishing rights for Acclaim’s promising racer…
THQ today confirmed that it has secured the worldwide publishing rights to the Juiced franchise, providing Juiced Games the opportunity to release their first title after the untimely demise of Acclaim.
THQ submitted a winning bid for the franchise, after Take-Two were initially rumoured to be the frontrunners, which was approved on October 6th 2004 by an order of the US bankruptcy judge overseeing the Chapter 7 bankruptcy proceedings of Acclaim Entertainment.
THQ have confirmed a summer 2005 release for Juiced on the Playstation2, Xbox and PC; weâ??ll have more information soon.
