Job ad indicates that Activision's next James Bond title may be in development at Liverpool-based Bizarre Creations...

So far, we know that Activision's next James Bond project is due to land sometime this year and will feature the mo-capping and voice-over talents of Eastenders' own Adam Croasdell, although very little else is known about the project at this stage.

The next Bond film (Bond 23) is currently in pre-production and slated for a 2011 release, so we'll go ahead and assume that this year's Bond game is not being tied-in to the next motion picture (the involvement of Croasdell would appear to back this up).

While previous rumours have linked the Activision-owned Bizarre Creations to an unspecified Bond racing game, a job ad (spotted by VG247) on the studio's website is now indicating otherwise. Bizarre's ad refers to a project that's based on an, "extremely high-profile major movie license," for which applicants will preferably need, "experience in a 1st/3rd person shooter."

Other than the Bond game, Activision has previously announced three games for 2010 based on existing movie licenses including Transformers and Spider-Man titles, as well as a Shrek 4 tie-in. The Transformers game (War for Cybertron) is known to be in development at High Moon Studios, while we can't see Peter Parker or the green ogre donning a shotgun anytime soon.

Of course, Bizarre Creations' movie-licensed project could be slated for release after 2010, which would make the reasoning above fairly erroneous. However, Bizarre has been recruiting for developers with 1st/3rd person shooter experience since early 2008, so this "high-profile major movie license" game may have been in development at the studio since it was acquired by Activision in 2007.

Whatever the case, signs do seem to be pointing towards a Bond shooter at Bizarre. We'll let you know as soon as we know more...

More to the point, it doesn't matter what this game is like. Any James Bond game will allways be compared to " Goldeneye" on the N64 and in MY OPPINION, no bond game will ever be as good as Goldeneye

@Post 4: Dude, I really wouldn't call anyone else an "illiterate ass". For a start, you've spelt retarded with two Ts in it, and you've spelt Ian Fleming's name wrong (twice, in two different ways).

Perhaps it's not worth getting so worked up about another person's innocent opinion, ay?

We want Pierce Brosnan back! He's the special actor fitted for James Bond. Come on you people we want the fictional gadgets back and Brosnan as 007. Get it?
