SEGA and Marvel team up to bring Iron Man sequel to multi-platforms in 2010...
Despite Sega's Iron Man adaptation falling woefully short of the mark it still managed to sell relatively well. So news of today's renewed partnership between Sega and Marvel Entertainment to release Iron Man 2 alongside the movie in 2010 comes as little surprise.
SEGA Studio San Francisco (formerly The Secret Level) is believed to be residing over the game, having previously worked on such renowned hits as Golden Axe: Beast Rider, Final Fight: Streetwise, and the previous Iron Man title.
"We are thrilled to build on the success of the Iron Man phenomenon and work with Marvel and Paramount on another epic project," says Simon Jeffery, President of SEGA of America, Inc. "SEGA and Marvel are collaborating closely to ensure we deliver an authentic Iron Man experience."
The press release notes that continued refinements to the game engine will bring both, "an entirely new", and "enhanced" gameplay experience.
