Trickstar Games' International Cricket 2010 will be released in the UK on June 18th 2010...
Codemasters has announced that Trickstar Games' International Cricket 2010 will be launched in the UK on June 18th of this year, when it will be smashed over the covers on Xbox 360 and PS3 for what Codies and Trickstar will be hoping is six runs rather than a dolly catch.
The launch has been timed to coincide with the NatWest series between England and Australia this summer. Both teams will be fully licensed in the game, although it's looking doubtful that the entire roster of international sides will receive the full licensing treatment, as was the case with Ashes Cricket 2009 last year.
As we've reported previously, the game is being developed by many of the same developers responsible for Codemasters' Brian Lara titles and last year's Ashes Cricket 2009. It appears that Trickstar Games has risen from the ashes (no pun intended) of the now closed Transmission Games studio, so you can expect much of the same gameplay from previous Codies cricket games in this latest iteration.
