Next-Gen Indiana Jones Game Reveal Next Week??? News

Rumours suggest that we'll finally get a look at LucasArts' missing, presumed dead next-gen Indiana Jones game next week...

Rumblings emanating from the GameStop Expo. In Las Vegas are suggesting that LucasArts' next-gen Indiana Jones game (originally shown at an E3 2006 tech demo with very few details surfacing since) will be revealed next week and is set for a 2009 release.

This news comes from 1up, with further details alleging that the Xbox 360 and PS3 game will use Star Wars: The Force Unleashed's game engine.

Although the game was originally revealed as part of an E3 2006 tech demo showing off Pixelux's DMM and NaturalMotion's Euphoria technology, barely a whisper has passed LucasArts' lips regarding the title ever since.

Late last month a PEGI rating of Indiana Jones and the Staff of Kings for handhelds was spotted, although we're yet to hear any details on this game either. Perhaps LucasArts thinks Indy can use his particular blend of action archaeology skills to promote the games himself.
